Ioana Jurca is a versatile litigator with several years of experience in complex litigation and arbitration both domestically and internationally. Specifically, her area of expertise encompasses civil and commercial litigation, class actions, commercial arbitration, professional liability and insurance litigation. She appears before Quebec courts of first instance, the Court of Appeal of Quebec, and various professional organizations and administrative tribunals. Ioana is currently completing a Master’s degree in international commercial arbitration at McGill University.
Before joining Woods, Ioana has worked in a major public legal department and a leading international law firm. Ioana is fluent in English, French, Romanian and has advanced proficiency in Spanish.
